The Beginning: A Vision Takes Shape

What started as weekend workshops in a shared office space has grown into something we never imagined back then. Marcus Kelloway and I were both working in corporate finance, frustrated by the gap between university theory and real-world application. We'd spend evenings teaching colleagues practical financial modeling techniques that weren't covered in their formal education.

The breakthrough came when we developed our signature cash flow analysis framework. Companies started requesting training sessions, and we realized we were onto something significant. By late 2018, we'd taught over 200 professionals across Brisbane and were fielding calls from Sydney and Melbourne.

Expansion and Recognition

The pandemic actually accelerated our growth in unexpected ways. When companies couldn't send teams to in-person training, we'd already been experimenting with interactive online sessions. Our virtual financial modeling workshops became incredibly popular, especially our "Build a Complete Financial Model in 6 Hours" intensive sessions.

By 2022, we were working with major Australian corporations and had developed specialized curricula for different industries. Our mining sector financial analysis course became particularly well-regarded after we partnered with several Perth-based companies to create industry-specific case studies.

Devon Pritchard

Senior Financial Analyst & Instructor

Specializes in risk management and financial modeling for energy sector companies. Devon joined us in 2021 and has since developed our most popular course series on scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling.

Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond

We're launching our most ambitious program yet in September 2025 - a comprehensive 12-month financial analysis certification that combines theoretical foundations with hands-on project work. Students will work on real company data, building portfolios that demonstrate genuine expertise rather than just course completion certificates. We're also expanding our focus to include ESG financial analysis and sustainable finance modeling, areas where we see enormous demand from both employers and finance professionals looking to future-proof their careers.
